老闆你知道如何用Y世代人才嗎?

Many employers say millennials (the so-called Generation Y) are difficult to cope with. Nevertheless, research has shown it is actually the employers who do not have a full understanding of the characteristics of millennials, thus failing to treat them accordingly.
有不少老闆說千禧世代(所謂的Y世代)很難教。然而,有研究指出,其實是大部分的老闆沒弄清楚千禧世代的特性,因此不知道怎麼對待這群人。

Many enterprises employ superficial methods to attract millennial talent, such as providing more flexible working environments or benefits. They have never truly altered the basic job contents and occupational structure. Therefore, talent outflow has turned into a severe crisis most enterprises are faced with.
很多企業吸引千禧世代人才的方式流於表面,例如提供彈性的工作環境或福利。他們並未改變基本的工作內容與職業結構。因此人才流失成為多數企業面臨的重大危機。

Millennials are more concerned about the opportunities acquired in the job to learn and grow. They anticipate undertaking more responsibilities.
千禧一代更關心在工作中獲得的學習和成長機會。他們期待肩負更多責任 。

The researchers found out successful entrepreneurs provide their young employees with a considerable amount of training and collaborative learning opportunities. Through releasing and guiding young employees’ passion and creativity, these people are able to engage in meaningful works and influence others. This meets millennials’ needs and meanwhile generates significant changes and income for the company.
研究者發現成功的企業家會為年輕員工提供大量的進修與協作學習機會。透過釋放和引導年輕員工的激情與創造力,讓他們從事有意義的工作並發揮自身影響力。這不僅完全符合千禧一代的要求,同時為公司創造可觀的改變和收入。
